I have heard from constituents over the age of 65 who have significant mobility issues and have experienced difficulties reapplying for a Blue Badge, despite having previously held one.

Older people with significant, long-term mobility issues should not have to navigate an unnecessarily complicated process to access the support they need.

I asked the Cabinet Secretary to work with COSLA and local authorities to look at how the application process can be simplified and made easier for those who need it.
