Portfolio Questions: Social Justice and Housing – Coordinating Support Services

Yesterday I asked the Cabinet Secretary for Housing about how we better join up housing with health, social care and justice services so people aren’t being discharged from hospital or court with nowhere to go.

I also raised the importance of listening to lived experience and supporting councils and the third sector to work more closely together. It was good to hear about the work already happening through homelessness prevention pilots and the new Ask and Act approach.
