What a wonderful afternoon I had dropping in to Parksprings Care Home to meet some of the residents and watch Johnny Collington perform.

Johnny does so much amazing work using music to support people living with dementia, and I was delighted to catch one of the many performances he gives in care homes and communities across Scotland.

You can catch him at his upcoming free fundraising performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, taking place at the fully accessible LifeCare Edinburgh Hub from 7–14 August in support of Alzheimer Scotland.

I have also attached my motion to The Scottish Parliament in recognition of Johnny Collington’s work supporting those living with Dementia.
