Lanarkshire Partnership Against Rural Crime Family Fun Day!

It was fantastic to attend the free Lanarkshire Partnership Against Rural Crime (LPARC) Family Fun Day at Strathclyde Country Park today, organised by Police Scotland!
It was wonderful to see so many people there enjoying the day. The event was incredibly busy, with plenty of activities for families, and it was great to catch up with some familiar faces while meeting lots of new people too. Seeing our community come together like this, and so many young people getting involved and engaged, was really heartening.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success, including Police Scotland and their Wildlife Crime Unit, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, North Lanarkshire Council, Care Of Police Survivors (COPS), Girls’ Brigade Scotland, Dogs Trust, Scottish SPCA, NFU Scotland, British Horse Society, RSPB, Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), Get Walking Lanarkshire and Neighbourhood Watch Scotland.
A special shoutout to Nicola Strachan at the SSPCA for all the fantastic work she does. It was also lovely to bump into Motherwell Councillor Anne Thomas and her family.
Events like this are a brilliant reminder of the strength of our local community and the fantastic organisations working every day to support it.
