Wear It Pink for Breast Cancer Now
I was honoured to sponsor the Breast Cancer Now drop-in and to lead the Breast Cancer Now debate in the Scottish Parliament this week.
Both events were deeply meaningful opportunities to highlight the importance of continued awareness, research, and support for everyone affected by breast cancer. A heartfelt thank you to all my colleagues who came along and embraced the spirit of the day, especially those who turned Parliament pink with their wonderful outfits and accessories.
Christina McKelvie was very much in our thoughts throughout. Christina was not only a much-loved and deeply respected colleague, but also a passionate advocate, a friend, and a source of strength and compassion for so many. Her absence was deeply felt, but her legacy continues to inspire us all. I hope we did her proud.
Together, we stand in support of those affected by breast cancer and the incredible work of Breast Cancer Now.
