Breast Cancer Now 2026 Debate

In Parliament, I spoke in support of the Breast Cancer Now Wear It Pink campaign, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. 🩷
For 25 years, Wear It Pink has brought people together to raise millions for vital breast cancer research and support, while reminding everyone affected by breast cancer that they are not alone.
In my speech, I highlighted the importance of better information about metastatic breast cancer, ensuring people can access new treatments, and continuing to invest in research that can improve outcomes for patients.
I also took a moment to remember my friend and colleague Christina McKelvie, whose passion for supporting people affected by cancer continues to inspire so many.
Breast cancer touches so many lives across Scotland, and while we have made huge progress, there is still more to do.
This Wear It Pink, let’s continue to raise awareness, support research and stand together with everyone affected by breast cancer.
