Citizens' Advice Scotland

Advice Direct Scotland
The Scottish Government funds Advice Direct Scotland which offers expert guidance and support on a wide range of essential services. You can find out more at advicedirect.scot or call free on 0808 800 9060.
Social Security Scotland
Putting dignity, fairness and respect at the heart of everything , at Social Security Scotland everyone is welcomed and treated equally.

Motherwell CAS
The Motherwell and Wishaw Citizens Advice Bureau can assist residents with advice by phoning 0808 196 9180, emailing Bureau@MotherwellCAB.casonline.org.uk, or by visiting the office at 90 Brandon Parade East, Motherwell ML1 1LY.
Turn2Us
Turn2us helps people in financial hardship to gain access to social security benefits, charitable, grants and support services – alongside a free benefits calculator.  You can call them on 0808 802 2000, 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. All calls are free from a UK landline and from most mobiles.
Pension Credit
For people affected by the UK Government decision to end universal provision for Winter Fuel Payment, you can find out about eligibility and apply for Pension Credit online at gov.uk/pension-credit/how-to-claim or by phoning the Pension Credit claim line on 0800 99 1234.  A friend or family member can call for you.

Carers Trust
Carers Trust is a major charity for, with and about carers. We work to improve support, services and recognition for anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems. Call 01698 428090

Newmains Lunch Club
The Newmains Lunch Club is held every Tuesday and Thursday in Coltness Memorial Church between 12.00-13.30. It is open to anyone over the age of 50 and provides a meal, good company and outings throughout the year.
North Lanarkshire Carers Together

Motherwell FC
Motherwell Football Club Community Trust runs a number of programmes, including ‘The Changing Room’ which is encouraging young men 18 and over, to come together over the course of 12 weeks, build social connections, and have fun. Please email community@motherwellfc.co.uk for more information.
Wellbeing Café
The Food for Thought Café and Wellbeing Centre is open Monday-Saturday from 10-5pm. Run by Lanarkshire Association for Mental Health (LAMH), who have been supporting and guiding people through their mental health journey since 1983. Find our more online at lamh.org.uk or by calling 01698 476726.
